For fiction, she is drawn toward gorgeous writing and strong, flawed characters who aren’t afraid to take chances or show a bit of a dark side. She is actively seeking fresh YA and middle grade fiction, as well as up-market commercial fiction, including contemporary women’s fiction, multicultural women’s fiction, and historical fiction.
For nonfiction, she is looking for compelling, voice-driven projects that shed a humorous or thought-provoking light on a previously unknown topic in the areas of narrative nonfiction/memoir, lifestyle, relationships, humor, current events, women’s issues, and food, wine, and cooking.
