Meg Gauck grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains before moving to upstate New York to achieve her dream of being buried under a ridiculous amount of snow. She is currently pursuing a PhD in biological anthropology at Binghamton University. Her research has taken her around the world, from an active volcano in Vanuatu to Mount Kilimanjaro. When she isn’t in the lab, she’s writing stories about messy teens finding their place in the world.
