Laura Reiter is an illustrator and writer based in upstate New York, where she works in watercolor and pencil. Born in Seattle, she studied zoology and printmaking and subsequently discovered that both fields involve tools and processes that are not exciting topics at parties. She lives with her family in a creaky house and enjoys making drawings for children who demand specificity.
